2017 Transit
An exploration of song as an elusive record of memory, dreams and longing.

For Plymouth Art Weekender 2017 artist Timothy Crowley and I worked with individuals from the migrant community. We recorded songs that have a particular significance to those who took part and the stories that are behind them. These songs were played from speakers in the trees at Frankfort Gate. We wanted to explore how memories of lives lived elsewhere can be overlaid and interwoven into the experience of place.
